Love!

After having recently moved to California I've been searching for a really great pair of sunglasses. In the past I've thought of sunglasses as a minor fashion accessory and always just picked up the first pair I found that didn't look ridiculous and wouldn't put a dent in my shopping budget. Sunglasses were a necessity to prevent crow's feet and traffic accidents. Really I shouldn't mislead you, I still feel this way about sunglasses. I really could care less. They just aren't my thing.
But like I said I've just moved to California and sunglasses are way more necessary here where the sun shines all day every day in a way that mostly feels great but sometimes feels like it's trying to kill you. I can no longer wear those cheap but functional sunglasses from Marshal's with the one arm that's so loose I can't tilt my head without them falling off. So I decided to invest in my eyewear.
Can I just say, why the hell are sunglasses so expensive? How have I gone through life willing to pay $50 for a few milliliters of face cream but unaware that a good pair of sunglasses may cost you over $300?
To add to the list of things I didn't know- Bobbi Brown has an eyewear line that's pretty great this year. I found these perfect glasses after trying on every brand no matter the cost thinking that I wasn't going to buy anything. I even left the store without purchasing them. Five minutes later I turned myself around and had to have them. That's my favorite type of purchase, the one you can't talk yourself out of the one you know, despite the cost, was both what you really wanted and really needed.
They're a brownish blush that will look good on any skin tone, a great change from the normal black or tortoise shell while still being understated as opposed to a pair of hot pink or red glasses. They're super comfy and give great protection from the sun. This understated shape also suits my oval face and will be wearable for as long as I can keep them in good condition. They come with a cute silver zip bag with a mirror inside which can double as a makeup bag.

Overall I'm really impressed with the Bobbie Brown line of sunglasses, they're all very Bobbie Brown understated, stylish and good quality. Definitely worth checking out!
